This is the Raikage's village, and its famous for assassinating the second Hokage, Senju Tobirama, as well as being the most aggressive ninja village. In a time of peace, it was the only village still trying to collect and amass techniques and abilities to have a military power edge on the other villages.

The Hidden Sound Village isn't even technically a village; it's a gigantic laboratory spanning many underground tunnel networks throughout the Land of Sound and other villages.
