Somehow I'll make a man out of you... well, more like woman out of myself (Open)

Haruka was at the training grounds, not a very unusual sight for those who came here regularly, she started getting to work on the training dummies, practising punches, executing elbows and collecting combos. Once she had done that for 10 minutes, she started going over to a clearing and started doing various exercises such as push ups and sit ups for another 20 minutes.

While she was taking a break, someone walked over to her, she looked up to see who it was and recognised the guy she was looking at instantly, Hebi, he was in her class at the academy, he was always mad at her since that one time she beat him in a sparring match. As he talked to her, a huge sneer was on his face Hey there Haruka, wanna go a round in the sparring arena? Haruka knew he was up to something, but she didn't think anything of it Sure

They walked over to a sparring ring and the fight begun, Haruka went into a defensive stance and waited for him to attack first, but instead he just whistled and two guys attacked Haruka from behind, one kicking her in the side and the other punching her on the back head before putting her in a headlock. Hebi smirked and started kicking her, laughing and yelling petty insults, after he stepped backwards to do a run up kick, she got her hand under the chin of the guy who was giving her a headlock and pushed upwards, loosening the hold so she could wrench herself free and throw the guy into Hebi's path.

Haruka ran over to the third guy while the other two were stunned and threw a few punches that he would easily be able to block so that his guard was high before grabbing the back of his neck and kneeing him in the stomach hard. His body naturally reacted to tuck his stomach in and move his hands to protect the injured area, Haruka took advantage of this to crack him in the chin with an uppercut that rocked his brain, making it hit his skull resulting in being knocked unconscious.

Hebi growled and started to cast a ninjutsu, so she rushed in and punched him in the chest, knocking the wind out of him, then she elbowed him in the face so that he fell to the ground with a broken nose. The third friend, the one that originally had her in a headlock, tried to go for a sneaky attack between her legs which she dodged before kicking him in the crotch, he howled in pain and went down to his knees. Haruka wiped her mouth before walking off Thanks for the entertainment, but I'd prefer to go back to training that'll actually make me break a sweat

Who walks into the training yard, whistling as he strums on his shamisen. He'd figured he would do some Song work, and maybe....Looking up, he sees a girl being assaulted by three ninja, and growls,rushing toward as he pulls down his goggles." Hey, you cowards!!!!" But she quickly handles it with some well placed taijutstu techniques. Blinking, the Genin grins, calming down and walks over, playing a trilling song." Ooooh, three foolish geckos tried to squash a desert rose/But they hurt their toes/Cause to their surprise, this flower had thorns/ I must admit, there's nothing as terrifying as a woman's scoooooorn!!!"He bows low, straightening up with a wink." And what sharp thorns they are. Well done, there."

Haruka was about to get back to work, when she heard some music being played, she looked in the direction it was coming from as the guy sang the lyrics. She recognised the guy playing the music, mostly from his reputation, his name was Sho and he was basically being raised by the village or something like that. Haruka rolled her eyes at his lyrics, but she decided to take it as a compliment Thanks, it's not that I'm tough though, they're just bullies who don't know how to react to someone fighting back she wasn't usually this mean about people, but she was really mad at them I'm Haruka

Sho nods." I see....Still, you handled them pretty good,anyway. Someone less skilled would have had more trouble." Then she introduces herself, and he bows extravagantly." And what a honor it is to meet a graceful but strong warrior like yourself, Haruka. Truly, your skill must be exceeded only by your beauty."He winks,straightening and strumming a intense song." And I am....." His song increases tempo, then he finishes with a flair, his hand running through his Mohawk as he strikes a pose." The Glorious Hero, Mamuro Sho, weilder of the Song jutsus, musician and painter extradonoire!"

The guy kept on flirting with him, she rolled her eyes again but found herself laughing slightly. He then started playing a song to make his introduction more dramatic or something So, Sho, you're a painter are you? Cuz you sure look like the Sho that is infamous as a graffiting vandaliser she chuckled to herself slightly before walking over, holding out her hand Nice to meet you

Sho blinks." I do commissions too! My mural signs decorate a good plenty of thevshops in this village,not to mention private home walls. I only,ahem, 'forcibly decorate', if someone's got it coming. Justice strikes fiercely...though Sensei has told me not to anymore..."He taps the kunai he had taken to wearing like a pendent,then grins,shaking her hand." Alright...need a long distance for to go up against?"

Haruka just smirked at his comment about doing commissions and 'forcibly decorating' people's businesses and homes and decided to ignore it. He shook her hand and asked if she wanted him to help her train You can try, but I'm quite a bit above your skill level she was not speaking to be mean, just to be honest.

Sho chuckles." Ouch...sharp thorns indeed. Hahahaha, that's probably true.You're genin, and I'm just chuunin.But, I wouldn't underestimate me..." He begins channeling chakra into his instrument, eyeing hebi as the boy gets up,a kunai clenched in his hand and glaring at Haruka murderessly.Suddernly, Sho points his instrument at the coward, playing a short peice of the Song of Hammering, which sends three airballs slamming into Hebi, who promptly flies dbackward, landing with a groan." Huh...not his day....where was I...oh yeah..." Sho adjusts his goggles, purposely tilting his head so they catch the light." I'm sure I can be of some use..." Having managed to actually look a little scary.....he ruins it by going "muahahahahgaha!!"

Haruka had noticed Hebi getting up herself, but she could tell Sho was up to something so she decided just to let him show off, and show off he did because he performed an impressive level of ninjutsu to be able to take out another genin just like that, Hebi couldn't even think to dodge. Haruka giggled to herself when Sho ruined his own badass moment Alright then, keep on walking back and we can start from there if he walked back, she would make him stop when she's 100 metres away before yelling Alright, begin when you're ready!

Sho grins, nodding." Alright, sure thing, Desert Rose." Winking, he walks away 100 meters, then turns around, strumming as he channels chakra." Alright, if you're ready....here I come!!!" The tune speeds up, and a rapid series of wind balls streak towards the girl, and he bobs his head." Oh yeah!! Let's dance!!"

He started by firing a few basic wind balls at her before saying "let's dance" alright then, if that's what he wanted. Haruka smiled cockily before dodging the entire barrage, using dance-like movements to evade the attacks before grinning cheekily, not that he'd notice from so far away. She would then start running after him, downplaying her speed enough that she'd be faster than him but not so much faster that he'd be unable to react.

Sho laughs excitedly as Haruka dodges his attacks, running towards him quickly!" Alright,alright!" He rapidly uses handsigns, causing a rockspike to shoot straight up.Using his Song of pounding, he quickly blasts balls at the two sides and point, hopefully blocking her.

Haruka kept on running, seeing the defence that Sho was setting up, she smiled and did a 360 turn. It seemed like she was going to crash, but then she did a backflip and cleared the defence, landing right in front of him. He'd have only one more chance to defend himself or he'd get a punch to the face for his troubles.

Sho blanches, and he finds his handsnplaying a frantic tune. Suddenly, a wall of air forms in front of him." Wha? What is this?!Its...pretty sweet,hahahaha!!" The genin backs up,considering what to do."..........Behold, my magestic battle technique.....Backwards step!!!!" He then magnificently, amazingly... begins running backwards.

Haruka was stopped by a wall of air all of a sudden, just as she was about to take him out as well, that's annoying. Haruka went around the wall, smirking slightly in ammusement as he unveiled his great technique. Once she got around the wall, she piled on the speed, rushing in at her real full speed and would deliver an elbow to his stomach if he could not defend himself from it.

Show eyes bug out as she really spears up." What? Oh crud....."He frantically raises his instrument out of the way, getting a elbow to the stomach, he flies backward a short distance, landing in a crouch." .......ow..." He stands up,checking his shamisen." Safe....good,good." Raising his head, he grins." Alright...Let's see how good you are at taking down an airborne opponent!!" He rapidly uses handsigns, and steel dust pours out from a sack hidden beneath his coat, forming into a disc beneath his feet. Floating up, he rummages in Hus coat when high enough, pulling out a stink bottle." I was hoping to use this for a prank, but ah well!!" Tossing it with a cackle, he waits till its above Harukas headf, then tosses a shurikem through the bottle, destroying it and releasing the contents.

Instead of continuing to go after Sho, Haruka stopped to let him gain his bearings, this was just a sparring match after all, not a real fight. Haruka watched as he used magnet release, something that she personally had never seen before, to lift up in the air. Haruka wondered what techniques he'd use to take advantage of the fact that he was now fighting at a distance, but he instead just decided to play around with something he uses for pranks I wish you'd take this more seriously she dashed to the side long before the stink bottle was over her head, knowing what he was likely going to use it for, before throwing a shuriken at him, testing to see if his magnet release would do anything about it.

Sho blinks."Well...I don't want to hurt ya..but if you insist.." He kneels down, dodging the shuriken, and reaches into his coat, gathering ten shuriken in each hand, then quickly flings his arms out, sending the blades flying towards her, then follows up with aveapid series of air balls.

So he was finally going to get serious then, how interesting. When he threw ten shuriken she responded by throwing shuriken to deflect each shuriken thrown and moving to avoid the air balls, but she used the art of the shadow shuriken to hide an extra shuriken under each one she threw, resulting in 10 shuriken now flying at Sho, each one would hit his clothes but not him so that he would lose his balance and maybe fall.

Sho blink as she counters, sending ten shuriken at him." Uh oh..." Wincing, hevstaggers back, letting himself fall off asvhe twists around in midair, sending airballs plowing into the sand around her and forming a miniture sandstorm, hopefully blindingbher, then throws twenty shiuriken at her, landing and waiting.

Her attack worked, hopefully her aim was good and he wasn't hurt too bad. As he fell, he fired several air balls to kick up a sandstorm, she couldn't see anything but it was likely he was going to do a follow up attack, so she backed up until she was out of the sandstorm Behold my majestic technique, back step! she would then wait for the sandstorm to stop obscuring the area.

Sho blinks, hearing her." Hey, you stole my technique!" The sand clears, and he sighs, seeing her standing outside the area, his shuriken scattered.Shrugging, he grins." You having fun yet?! I'm not being too much of a drag, eh, Desert Rose?"Laughing, he examines her, watching carefully.

Haruka smiled No, you're good, better than I expected for sure, but I wasn't given the rank of chunin by Lady Kazekage because I can't handle the likes of you she would then rush over at full speed and aim for a sweep kick to knock him down. If she managed that, she would pin him down with a kunai to his throat and wait a few seconds before getting off of him and letting him up. If she didn't manage to knock him down, she'd back-pedal away and wait for his next move.

Sho grins, striking a pose." Yah....I'm pretty wonderful, aren't I?Hahahahaha!!Wait...Handle me?"Then, sher rushes him. He gulps, trying to counter, but let's face it...he sucked at hand to hand.He finds himself on the ground, looking into Harukas face as she holds a kunai to his throaght for a second, then let's the musician up. Sho grins cheekily, dusting himself off." You know...you could've bought me lunch before you wanted to cuddle."

Haruka pinned Sho to the ground, holding a kunai to his throat, he couldn't escape, so she loosened her pin and let him up, clapping him on the shoulder You were good, for a genin, I reckon you'd do well in the chunin exams if you're chosen to compete he then made a corny joke, to which she just laughed I didn't want to wait she then winked at him, noticeably adjusting her posture.
