| The Chunin exams were coming soon, all the potential genin were nervous, everyone who is in the running for competing had already been told that they may be selected. Now, the first stage had been done by advisors, but Raidon wanted to do more than just read through lists to decide, he wanted to see the genin for himself. So this is why some people who were training would all turn their heads to see a foreboding figure walk in and give his raikage robe to one of his guards, showing the workout clothes he had underneath. Everyone just stared as the raikage walked in Does anyone know where I can find a girl called Kichi? | |

| The girl called Kichi happened to be on the other side of the training grounds at the time, unaware of the Raikage's arrival. She had gotten into a sort of "fight" with another genin team. It wasn't an unusual occurrence. She had approached them out of no where, thinking of giving them a little advice about having a lot of openings, but they brushed her off wanting to have nothing to do with her. In response, she decided to "demonstrate" their shortcoming right in the middle of their formation practice by breaking through relatively easily and sneaking up on one of the three. This caused the girl she tapped on the shoulder to get surprised and lose her cool.
"See? If I were an enemy, you'd be dead by now. And I wasn't even trying~"
The girl's two teammates rushed to her side and gave Kichi piercing glares. Kichi merely shrugged.
"I mean, if you're not taking things seriously, then maybe accidentally getting killed here would save the village the trouble of cleaning up after the next mission you fail~"
The two were about to angrily say something in response but Kichi cut them short. "I'm kidding, I'm kidding. No need to get too worked up about it~"
"Well, actually maybe you do~" She tried to suppress her giggle but wasn't doing too good of a job at it, causing the other team feel even more annoyed.
From the corner of her eye, she noticed that there was some sort of commotion near the entrance of the training grounds. Her jaw dropped and her heart nearly stopped as she eventually realized and recognized the familiar figure who had just arrived.
"Oh... my... gosh~" | |

| A chunin, someone who worked part-time at the academy, nervously stepped forward and looked over at Raidon, overwhelmed by his presence. Raidon looked at him and stepped forward Hey Taku-kun, it's good of you to use some precious time to help teach the next generation of shinobi, it's very cool of you Taku was stunned at such praise from the Raikage, he was perhaps even more surprised when Raidon raised his hand for a high five.
After Raidon patiently waited for Taku to gain the courage to return the high five, he would grin as if hanging out with a buddy So, what did you step forward for? Taku stuttered for a few seconds before deciding he couldn't come up with the words and simply pointing the way. Raidon thanked him and clapped him on the back, accidentally knocking him off of his feet Oh, sorry he walked on in the direction that Kishi was said to be.

| "Um, um..." Kichi started combing her hair with her fingers. "How do I look?" She asked, addressing the genin team she was teasing just moments ago.
The three were dumbfounded. They wanted to get angry, but somehow it felt as though they lost the chance to with the abrupt change in the mood and atmosphere. One of the genin turned around wondering what was the cause only for his eyes to widen in surprise as he spotted the Raikage walking in their direction. He quickly relayed the unexpected development to the other two and the three of them found themselves standing at attention nervously.
Meanwhile, Kichi was fumbling her pockets for a scroll and brush. It wasn't everyday that you ran into the top dog of the village up close in person. It goes without saying that she was a big fan. Of course she had seen him many times before, but only from a distance.
When the Raikage finally got there, instead of greeting, Kichi found herself bowing with her arms stretched forward holding a brush and scroll in each hand. "May I have your autograph?~"
The other genin were at a loss for words.

| Raidon came across four genin, any of them could be the one he was looking for, but he knew who it was just by looking at the way she held herself, and by the fact that he read her file and knew what she looked beforehand, but that was only a minor detail, he tooooooootally figured it out from almost nothing. Once he arrived at the group, Kichi took out some stuff and asked for an autograph, Raidon smiled politely and bent down Sure, who shall I make it out too? By the way, do you know where a lovely young lady called Kishi can be found around here? he decided to play dumb to see how she reacts. | |

| Kichi squealed internally upon being told the Raikage was actually looking for her. She wondered why. She didn't remember doing anything recently that elicited the attention of the village Kage. Then again people were always oblivious to their own growth. Maybe her instructor put in a good word or something since the last mission went so well. It's not like it was a secret that she was a big fan. She would have to thank him later if that was the case.
"You are looking at her sir~"
She straightened up and raised her head.
"Kichi, at your service. You can make it out to Kichi~"

| Raidon pretended to be pleasantly surprised that the girl in front of her was the girl she was looking for Oh, really? Well I better sign your autograph before I do what I came here for he took the scroll and the brush and wrote a short message dedicated to her, adding his signature at the end as proof he wrote it for if this girl wanted to brag. He gave her back the scroll and would give her a few seconds to take it in, he could tell she was a huge fan.
Once he thought it was safe, he spoke again Alright, has your instructor told you that the chunin exams in Konoha are coming up? I've heard you're an excellent shinobi and a good candidate for chunin, so I've come to check you out for myself. Could you possibly show me your stuff on those training dummies? He gestured to some dummies several metres away I want you to hit them in five seconds starting... now they were too far away to tag with shuriken in that time, if she wanted to do it in time she'd have to use the body flicker technique, this was of course designed to see if she was as skilled as she had been stated to be.

| Kichi squealed internally for a second time as she received the signed dedication. She neatly rolled the scroll and kept it in one of her more secure pockets before listening intently to what the Raikage came to say. It turns out it was about the chuunin exams. Well, she was certainly looking forward to that one. She had some idea that the Raikage would be approving who would participate, but she never expected he'd go out himself to have a look. It was a rare chance indeed to show off a little.
"Yes sir! Do you want me to hit them all at once or one at a tiiiii...I'm on it!~"
The abrupt start was no big deal. The excitement from meeting the Kage still had her feeling pretty pumped and her body felt light. As soon as the Raikage give the signal she was off, leaving behind an afterimage as she stabbed a needle point blank in the head of the first dummy. Leaving behind more afterimages, she would proceed to do the same to the next two dummies, stabbing vital points every time. With a couple of seconds to spare, she decided to do something a little different for the last two dummies. Running lightning chakra on a needle, she lined herself up with the dummies and then threw the lightning-charged projectile. The needle easily penetrated the first dummy and went on to pierce the second, penetrating that too before embedding itself on the stone ground.
Kichi finished up by taking a bow.

| Raidon raised his eyebrow, not only had she shown freaking beautiful mastery of the body flicker technique but she also used lightning chakra coating to take out two of the dummies. Raidon grinned before blurring behind her, patting her on the head Damn girl, I don't think it'll be long until I'm scouting you out for the jounin exam! he grinned Is there anything you want of me while I'm still here before I go off to do your paperwork? | |

| The compliment was just icing on the cake. It would probably go in Kichi's top five warm and fuzzy moments in her life ever: that feeling of the Raikage giving her a pat on the head. When she heard him ask if there was anything she wanted from him, it was like her birthday came early. Problem was, she was starting to feel a little lightheaded from being in a state of hype for a few minutes now.
"A-a training session! I would love to have one some time when you're less busy~"
She paused to catch her breath and calm herself a bit.
"I've got this secret weapon that I want to perfect before heading off to the exams. And it would be really awesome and cool to get some hands-on instruction and tips from you sir! I-if it isn't too much to ask anyway~"
The sight of a nervous Kichi was rare, but even so, her usual ambitious and opportunistic personality still manages to manifest itself somehow. She may be nothing short of ecstatic at the moment, but her subconscious still manages to push her into milking the situation for all it's worth.

| Raidon could tell by the way she was acting that she was feeling light-headed, Raidon was starting to mentally prepare himself to catch her if she fainted, but then she found the strength to ask for a training session, claiming she wanted to practice with her 'secret weapon' before the exam Kichi-kun, I'd be glad to, meet me at the office and tell my guards you want a meeting with "Raidon", that's how they know it's a personal visit so they won't just turn you away | |

| The Raikage was such a cool guy. She'd heard he was pretty chill usually but it was still a pleasant experience to see it for herself.
"Thanks so much! I promise I'll be uh... less jittery next time~"
And with that she secured a second meeting. Not bad for someone nearly overcome by fan girl bliss. She lazily waved goodbye when the Raikage started to leave, still not completely snapped out of her own little world.

| Raidon could tell that her heart would not be able to take too much more of this, so he chuckled and waved goodbye to her, being careful not to make her heart malfunction by touching her anymore I can't wait to see what you're like without jitters then he walked off, going back to the Raikage office for work. | |
