Other Traits:The mask covers a face on which one half is horribly burned, as is the throaght, which forces him to speak in a hoarse, growly voice. His long coat is armored, and there are flexible,rib like reinforcements on the sides. starting at the waist and ending at the chest area. He has a armored shirt beneath the coat, and several bandoliers of throwing knives.He also wears armored bracer/gloves, from which flow a series of tribal tattoos that end at his shoulder.He wears regular pants, but wears armored boots and greaves. Every single ppeice of armor, and his sword, is coated in a unique substance that canceles the burning power of judgementlfire and regular fire.

Skills:

Sword fighter: despite his young age, he's veryskilled with his unique sword, probably since he's carried it since he was a small child.
Stealth: like every good ninja, he's learned how to be stealthy, though he's no master. Never less, its rare for a standard mook to detect him when he's going stealth.
Fearmonger: he's gotten good at using the Armor he wears and his stealth, not mention his jitsu, to induce fear into his enemies.
Seigi Jutsu: hes skilled in unique(now) jutsus of his clan, and is capable of controlling the Judgementfire produced by the Jusdgementfiree release.
Empty hand: Though he's better at the sword, he knows how to defend himself with a empty hand. His talent level is middling on this.
Knife thrower: he's gotten very accurate with his throwing knives over the years.
Feeling Pain evermore: His burn gives him constant pain, so over the years he's gotten good at resisting pain that would make most beg.

Weaknesses:Judgementfire flaw: This Kekki Gekkai is susceptible against both wind and water jutsus. And regular  wind that blows hard enough cancels it out.

Self trained:Though he's a very good sword fighter, he's self trained. Thus, his style is a little rough. So, a more experienced and refined fighter could defeat him.

Gah...the pain: Despite the resistance he's gained, he's still susceptible, more so to sudden, great pain. His face also pulses more and more the more upset he is. Thus, if you can make him angry or sad enough, you can shut him down using pain alone.

Equipment:His sword, Seigi No Kiba:Its shape allows his to cleave deep, and yet he can agiely slash and stab like a normal blade.He also carries double sides throwing knives, and standard ninja equipment. He also has a mask he refuses to take off:





Personality:Seemingly cold, he's actually seething in rage at those who made him what he is, and pretty much any other evil. Once you get past all that, though, and gain his trust, you'll find a kind, gentle,(funny), and slightly goofy boy, as evidenced by his fondness and protectiveness over children and small animals.He enjoys seafood and rootbeer, and if you're lucky you'll find him reading manga or fairy tales.But, he also has a lot of issues, often having nightmares and intense guilt that he failed to protect his family.

Strengths:Determined: He's enormously stubborn, refusing to give in to just about any thing. He only follows those he respects.

Loyal: Once he manages to make a friend, you better hope you don't hurt them, cause hell hunt you to the ends of the earth and drag you back to beg for forgiveness.

Inner good nature: His inner self, despite being damaged, is still very good, even wrapped as it is by anger, rage, and scary garments.. Thus, he helps those who need it, allowing to gain more and more allies at his back, even if he doesn't know it.

Interests/Habits:Enjoysreading manga and fairytails/folklore/ghost stories. He also enjoys eating seafood, so you'll often find him in a dark corner of a resteraunt.You can also find him being nice to a small animal, though hell vehemently deny it and claim he was "training" it.

Seigi clan background: Long, long ago, a man looked around, and saw evil. He was filled with Righteous Fury, and retired to the shadows, swearing to hunt evil wherever it may walk, whoever it was. He had both lightning and fire running through his blood, and used these energies to create a new energy, calling Judgement upon those who prey on their fellow man..eventually, he formed a clan within a secret location, passing down his knowledge, and mission, down through the generations. Now, there is only one Seigi left.....
Note: He's never had a chance to take the chunin examines, so he's officially a genin.

Okay, so first time reviewing a character app in... years atleast so I'm rusty at this.

You mentioned in the CB that the classification was blank because you didn't know what to rank him as. After actually going through it in my mind, that seems to be an issue here.

There's not enough details to come up with a rank. And that also goes for Hellfire. He's 17 and he's invented a new kind of energy? That's some child prodigy stuff right there. It's not like he invented a new jutsu or something, he created a new kind of energy. I find it alittle hard to believe.

I would like it if you'd go into alittle more detail with his history. It's short and sweet but at the same time is alittle too short to really come up with a rank. Don't need a wall of text or anything, just fill us in as to what kind of missions or jobs he's been up to for seven years. And if he invented that fancy new energy before or after his clan was wiped out.

Maybe making him alittle older wouldn't hurt either.

As for Hellfire itself: You never said how hot it was. Knowing that will help me determine how much I feel comfortable with you doing with it. And spreading through water is alittle too much regardless, and seems more like an advantage then a drawback. Increases the chances of getting someone burnt right? You can still have it not be put out by normal water. But I think people using water based jutsu should be able to put them out as any wind jutsu user. Cause there's chi being used aye?

Thank you for your advice. Its really helpful, since I'm used to making carries that rely on innate abilities rather than techniques(Toji, anyone?) And I'll make the nessary adjustments.

I'll increase his age by a year, and make the Judgement fire a technique passed down through the clan.(Thus yami won't be some boring prodigy, lol) I'll also detail its heat, and make it susceptible to wind and water jutsu. I'll also modify his history. Again, tanks.^^

Okay, so you still have Judgement spread through water as part of it's weakness. That still needs to be corrected.

I would also like to mention that Judgement sounds alot like the fire from Tsusoono(sp?). Nothing really needs to be done about that, just letting you know to be careful with it.

I've no idea if the temp is too high or not. I use examples. For my clarification, what can it do at that temp? Don't have to necessarily have to fix or add anything, I just need to know what it's capable of burning or melting at that temp.

I'm assuming you want to keep the "jumping to metals" bit of Judgement. Otherwise you could if you wanted keep the spread through water. But not both basically. The reason I bring that up is because... Naruto. The way the fire/lightning thing works in mind is lightning>water>fire. Meaning the fire is not put out only because of the lightning part. It's kinda tricky when you think about it that way.

Now as for the subject of ranking- did he pass the chunin exams? Or rather is he smart enough to be a chunin? If he's never done the chunin exams, then he would be considered "officially" to be a genin. I'm not sure if you're aiming for a missing-nin or hunter-nin but that is what it boils down to.

Okay, I'll delete the spreading through water part.^^ And he was never a part of a village, persay...unless his dead clan counts, so I'm not sure he counts as either.Maybe a Mercenary Ninja is technically what he is, since he wonders from village to village and taking out criminals and snagging what rewards were layered on them.Anyways, I'll mod.^^
